In November 1944, the 3314th QM Truck Co. was stationed near Liverpool, England. The Royal Army needed assistance in providing motor transport requirements. They asked the US to provide assistance, and the 3314th detachment was assigned to them. In March 1945 Lt. Col. T.C., recognized their superior service.
