This unit was activated 20 December 1943 at CGJ as the 335th Transportation Detachment, and was redesignated as the 335th Transportataion Corps Harbor Craft Company on 21 April 1945. It was inactivated on 3 December 1945 at Camp Kilmer NJ. Campaign Participation Credit for Normandy, Northern France.
